What SikMal collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Your phone number from WhatsApp sign-in, the listings you post, your saved items and searches, and the delivery address you enter at checkout. We do not read your WhatsApp messages.

Why we use it

To show your listings to buyers in your city, to let a courier reach you, and to keep the marketplace free of fraud. Nothing else.

Who sees your number

Buyers see your number only on listings you publish with Pay Before Publish. On Cash on Delivery listings your number stays hidden and only the courier receives the delivery details.

What we never do

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not send marketing messages to your WhatsApp.

Your control

You can edit or delete any listing at any time, and delete your account from Profile → Edit profile. Deletion removes your listings and personal data within 30 days.

Where your data is stored

Our servers are in the European Union and listing photographs are held with a global storage provider. Your information is therefore processed outside Iraq, by providers that apply recognised security standards.

Children

SikMal is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Tell us if you believe a child has created an account and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

The date above always shows the current version. When a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app.
